Year after year the paintings of this Ukrainian painter have continued to gain in popularity worldwide. She is an icon of a successful new woman. Iryna Onopenko liked painting since childhood. After the end of her successful career as a lawyer she chose to make her dream come true and connect her life with the art. She began to develop her artistic talent and work hard. At present, in addition to public exhibitions, her paintings are collected by private collectors from Ukraine, Spain, Italy, Greece, Moldova, Romania and Lithuania.
In 2015 Iryna opened an art gallery where she exposed not only her own artworks, but the paintings of promising Ukrainian painters. Since then she has continued to be not only a successful artist, but a promising art dealer.
Iryna was awarded with the All-Ukrainian prize “Woman of III millennium” in nomination of “Promotion of Cultural Integration of Youth”. She took part in the exhibition “Art Spring” that took place in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. In 2018 she graduated from the Kyiv School of Modern Art at the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, where she presented her artworks at the exhibition of the Ukrainian art. Since September 2019 the artist has studied at the Art Business Academy and developed her art dealer skills.
In the coming days Ms Onopenko is going to focus on the development and promotion of young Ukrainian artists. The main goal of her project is to show Ukraine the most promising and talented Ukrainian artists who are not known at home, but are of great interest for the global cultural community and collectors of art. Iryna desires to present new names and make the audience not only to observe the beauty, but grows up in cultural terms. The artist attempts to elevate the status of Ukraine in the eyes of the European cultural community as a modern, spiritually developed, cultural state. And she is doing it well. As Iryna Onopenko likes her job sincerely and believes in its global mission.
